Chidiya our latest release, is a feature film directed by Mehran Amrohi, starring Vinay Pathak and Amrutha Subhash, along with a strong ensemble cast. A social and sports drama set in a Mumbai chawl, the film follows two young brothers who find purpose and imagination through sport. Chidiya was released theatrically on 30 May 2025 and is currently available on Amazon Prime Video (rent). The film has received strong critical appreciation and has been featured across several curated and year-end lists highlighting some of the most notable Indian films of 2025, along with recognition at international film festivals.
Smiley films produced 13 episodes mini-series for Hotstar named “Teen Do Paanch” with versatile actor Sheryas Talpade and Bidita Bag. Teen Do Paanch attracted good number of eyeballs and marked multiple million views.
Smiley Films believes a good story needs to be told, and for the same purpose, apart from feature films, SF produced many short films. “Happy A’n’iversary” and “Private” are two of its recent short films which hopped around in festival net.
With Zee5, SF has produced two short films “Meethi Eid” and “Rishte mein to hum tumhare” as Eid special and Father’s day special respectively, moreover it has produced an “Independence Day” anthem for Zee Group which featured many Bollywood Celebrities including Arjun Rampal, Dia Mirza , Jimmi Shergil, Gul Panag, AhanaKumbra and Tanuj Virmani.
Recently, Smiley Films has made two series for Watcho named “Papa ka scooter” and “Tara Bhaiyya Zindabad”.
